Privacy
This site is a personal portfolio. It runs no analytics, sets no advertising cookies, and does not track visitors across sites. The only personal data it handles is what you choose to type into the contact form.
What the contact form collects
Your name, email address, the reason you selected, your message, and your company name if you choose to give one. Company is optional; the rest are required in order to reply to you.
What happens to it
The message is delivered to a single mailbox as an email and is not stored in any database on this site. There is no back end holding submissions. Replies come from that mailbox, so the conversation continues over ordinary email from that point.
Who else processes it
Cloudflare hosts the site and serves every request, so it processes standard access data including your IP address. Resend delivers the contact form email. Google provides the mailbox that receives it. Each of these is a processor acting on my behalf and each publishes its own privacy policy.
Bot protection
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people apart from automated scripts. Turnstile processes your IP address and some browser characteristics to make that judgement. It is a privacy-preserving alternative to a CAPTCHA: it does not ask you to identify traffic lights, and Cloudflare states it does not use the data to profile or track you.
Cookies and local storage
No cookies are set for analytics or advertising. Your light or dark theme preference is kept in your browser's local storage so the site does not flash the wrong colour scheme on your next visit. It never leaves your device. Cloudflare may set cookies strictly necessary for security and for Turnstile.
How long it is kept
Contact form messages live in an ordinary email inbox and are kept as long as they are useful, which for a genuine enquiry means as long as the conversation is relevant. Ask me to delete a message and I will.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask what personal data I hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Since the only data I hold is the email you sent me, that is usually a short conversation. Email me and I will act on it.
